Some prominent philosophers have published books on Continental philosophy and American philosophy after WWII in Japan. Among those, Ōmori Shōzō, Wataru Hiromatsu, Yasuo Yuasa and Takaaki Yoshimoto created original works under the influence of Marxism, phenomenology and analytic philosophy.
